On shelves now, shoppers can get their hands on a 12-pack of Costco’s white cupcakes with buttercream icing or a 12-pack of chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing, with each pack priced at just $8.99 (that’s about 75¢ each!)—but the fun doesn’t end with that spectacular price. In each package, four cupcakes are adorned with numbers that read “2026,” while the remaining six are decorated with gold sugar sprinkles. If you aren’t a Costco member but love taking a trip to Sam’s Club, you’re in luck! This popular warehouse retailer is also offering a festive addition to your dessert lineup that doesn’t require you to make a mess in your kitchen! In a Facebook post shared by one Sam’s Club location in Colorado, they revealed that they’re offering a 30-count mix of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with chocolate and vanilla frosting, adorned with sweet 2026 decals for about $16. Check out your store and see if they carry these treats as well!
ShopRite’s sweet New Year’s finds
Though it may vary from location to location, according to ShopRite’s website, the Northeastern grocery store is also offering a handful of festive treats for your celebration. For $8.99, you can get your hands on a 6-pack of holiday cupcakes adorned with party hats and countdown clock decals. Some stores are also offering a 24-cupcake holiday pull-apart cake, which includes 24 cupcakes shaped and decorated like a champagne glass, with a gold plastic decal that reads “Happy New Year.”
Publix prepares for New Year’s Eve
