SmartSens Technology (Shanghai) Co., a top Chinese CMOS image sensor (CIS) manufacturer, announced on February 27 a long-term strategic partnership with Nexchip Semiconductor, a Hefei-based wafer foundry backed by Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC).
