Want to try and recreate this sweet concoction in your own kitchen? Grab any boxed vanilla cake mix and bake in a loaf pan (bake time will vary depending on the size of your pan). Slice off the top layer so that the cake is flat in a uniform rectangular shape. Gently slice the cake into three layers and set aside. For the creme brûlée flavored filling, combine a cup of milk with half a packet of instant vanilla pudding mix and half a packet of butterscotch instant pudding mix. Fold a container of Cool Whip into the pudding mixture. For the whipped topping, feel free to use either plain Cool Whip or make a batch of homemade whipped cream by mixing 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with 2 tablespoons of confectioners sugar and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. The crunchy layer in between can be accomplished by crushing up a crunchy cookie such as vanilla wafers, or by crushing up a handful of hard caramel candies, such as Werther’s. Sprinkle some of the candy on top as a garnish and serve!
