Vic pharmacy’s new Advantage

ADVANTAGE Pharmacy Elsternwick in Victoria has launched a free Dose Administration Aid (DAA) packing service for all healthcare concession card holders.

The amenity is designed to help eligible patients manage their medications safely, accurately, and with ease; reducing missed doses; avoiding medication errors; and providing peace of mind to patients and caregivers.

Patients can choose from two formats: individually labelled, easy-tear sachets grouped by time of day for added convenience and portability; or blister packs, ideal for those who prefer a clear visual layout of their weekly medications.

The DAA service includes weekly packing by trained pharmacy professionals; ongoing review and updates with a customer’s current medications; and optional pharmacist consultations and

SMS reminders.

“We know how overwhelming medication management can be, especially for those on multiple prescriptions,” said Lan Tran, pharmacist and owner.
