Free pharmacist ASL training

OEXA and Meitheal Services have partnered to launch a free online training course, Empowering Patients with Active Script List (ASL), now available on the lrnrx learning platform.

As gatekeepers to consumers’ Active Script List (ASL), understanding how ASL works – and how to explain it – is essential for every pharmacy professional, according to Krysti-Lee Patterson, founder of Meitheal Services and lrnrx.

The course, which is aimed at pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, interns and students, goes beyond technical instruction to provide advice on engaging and supporting patients.

“Pharmacists play a crucial part in digital health, but bridging the tech gap takes more than know-how – it takes a patient-first mindset,” said Mina Giang, digital health advocate and co-founder at Oexa, the company behind the Scripty app.

“lrnrx delivers skills you can put into practice straight away,” added Patterson.

“It empowers pharmacy teams to confidently engage with patients, deepen relationships, and drive better health outcomes with technology that truly serves people,” she explained.

Participants will learn the difference between ASL and the types of patient management apps and how to activate an ASL in a compatible app like Scripty, and discover practical strategies to support patients with accessing their ASL.
