Foxconn’s Liu takes TEEMA helm, plots Taiwan’s global tech push

The Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA) held its 27th term first member meeting on May 15, re-electing board directors and supervisors and appointing Foxconn chairman Young Liu as its new chairman. Alongside Liu, Jerry Hsu, chairman of AcBel Polytech, a subsidiary of Kinpo-Compal Group, Shang-Hung Shen, chairman of Taya, and Wilson Hu, president of Shinfox Energy, a subsidiary of Foxlink Group, were named vice chairmen.
