DERCOS by Vichy Laboratoires has released a new product in its Anti-Hair Fall range, the Aminexil Region Booster Serum.

The serum contains 1.5% Aminexil to fight hair loss and 3% revitalising essence of ginger extract and niacinamide to boost hair anchorage.

Suitable for all scalps, the gentle formula is free from sulphates, parabens and colourants.

According to the brand, the double-action formula has demonstrated more than 68% increase in hair volume instantly after first use.

“Hair fall and thinning are often linked to factors like stress, hormonal changes, or overall scalp health,” said Samantha Russell, Medical Director for L’Oral Dermatological Beauty.

“It’s crucial to use products with active ingredients like Aminexil to address hair loss at the follicle level and target the scalp microbiome to stimulate thicker hair growth.”

Dercos said that 49% of the female population experience hair fall at least once in their life and 30-50% of men before the age of 50.
