There are a few things in this life that are hard to pass up, and one of those is a stop at the Costco food court. If you managed not to fill up on samples and stayed under budget (because when you’re shopping at Costco, you need one!), then you may have wandered into the Costco food court once or twice, enticed by their ooey, gooey cheese pizza, the delightfully savory pocket of joy known as a chicken bake or their wonderfully affordable and consistently delicious hot dog (just $1.50 for the dog and a soda!). If it’s your sweet tooth that’s forced you onto that food court line, you probably have enjoyed one of their classic sundaes doused in chocolate syrup or a latte freeze for an afternoon pick-me-up. Whatever your Costco food court poison might be, there’s something on their menu for everyone—but did you know that Costco locations around the world have their own unique food court items to choose from? Here, we’ve rounded up a few that have us wishing we could hop on a plane and try them ourselves!

France’s fish and chips are a Costco win
Though fish and chips are a delicacy often associated with the UK, if we ever find ourselves in Costco in France, this isn’t something we plan on passing up! Crispy pieces of fried fish lay atop a bed of tasty fries, and for around $5, this is certainly a steal! “Words cannot express my disappointment that US Costcos don’t have fish and chips,” wrote one Reddit user. “My cholesterol and waistline are rejoicing, but my tastebuds and brain are not pleased,” they joked.
Costco in Canada is serving poutine for all
If you’ve never tasted poutine, you’re missing out on a top-notch combo. Fresh french fries topped with chewy cheese curds that soften up thanks to a hefty covering of warm brown gravy make this the perfect bite, and in Canada, you can grab a portion right from Costco! Though poutine isn’t exactly hard to come by in Canada, for the American Costco shopper, it’s always fun seeing what’s being served in other Costco locations across the world. “Could I get more ‘authentic’ poutine somewhere? Sure. But Costco is cheap, it’s tasty, it’s a sizable portion, it has all the components I want. I’m never disappointed I got a Costco poutine,” wrote a Costco shopper on Reddit.
Korea amps up the traditional Costco pizza
They say if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it, but there’s nothing wrong with getting creative every once in a while! Bulgogi is a Korean dish made up of thinly sliced marinated beef, and in Korea, they’ve topped their Costco food court pizza with it!
Cozy up with the UK’s cottage pie from Costco
In the UK, you can grab an Aberdeen Angus cottage pie, which consists of ground beef and veggies in a savory gravy, topped with a layer of creamy mashed potatoes and baked until it has a golden crust. While this might be a food court option you’ll want to take home with you and cozy up to eat, our mouths are watering at the thought of it!
Australia is serving up meat pies
In Australian Costco stores, the Aussie Steak Pie is a food court favorite, as flaky pastry covers tasty chunks of steak in a delicious gravy-like sauce. Our stomachs are growling!
