The AI memory market is taking shape rapidly. China’s Longsys has launched enterprise SOCAMM2 modules built on LPDDR5/5X, aiming to seize early opportunities in next-generation AI server demand. According to ETNews and industry sources, Nvidia has scrapped plans for SOCAMM1 and moved directly to the SOCAMM2 standard, with Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron already engaged in sample qualification.
