Celebrate Irish Culture in Scituate, ‘The Most Irish Town in America!’

Get whisked away to “The Most Irish Town in America!” Thanks to immigrants from the Emerald Isle who settled here during the Great Famine, the town stays true to its roots with pubs, a heritage trail and fantastic events!

Start your day at the Maritime & Irish Mossing Museum, open Sunday afternoons. Learn about Scituate’s relationship with the sea and how Irish immigrant Daniel Ward started the mossing industry in the 1800s.

Next, get a taste of Irish cuisine at The Voyage Irish Pub. Choose from delicious traditional options like the Lucky O’Reuben, shepherd’s pie, fish and chips or a traditional Irish breakfast.

As dusk approaches, spend an evening sampling 13 lines of draft beers at Untold Brewing, which occupies a historic one-room schoolhouse.
