Bed Bath & Beyond Home Coupons Have New Restrictions

Bed Bath & Beyond had it all: college dorm decor, stylish bedding, bath products and, of course, the coupons. The superstore offered a sweet deal when using their coupons, which made customers keep coming back for more.

If the offer of a 20% deal wasn’t good enough, the store also allowed customers to use coupons that had already expired and they would give you new ones upon entering the store. Plus, the sister stores of Bed Bath & Beyond—Harmon’s, Big Lots and The Container Store—would accept coupons specifically for Bed Bath. This made shopping a simpler experience without having to worry if your coupon was past its date.

But all of that changed when every Bed Bath & Beyond location closed down in 2023 after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The liquidated company name and its digital assets were won in an auction by Overstock.com, which relaunched the brand as an online store.

Of course, shopping only online took away from the experience of heading into your local Bed Bath & Beyond and choosing a new set of decor. Especially if you were heading college dorm shopping and expected to get a physical dorm checklist.

Now, the Bed Bath & Beyond store has been rebranded under the name Bed Bath & Beyond Home and has officially opened its first physical location in Nashville, Tennessee and previous loyal customers have been patiently waiting to see if their usual deals would come back, including the 20% coupon.

In short, yes, Bed Bath & Beyond Home will be bringing back the iconic 20% coupons. The long answer, however, is a bit more convoluted. The new coupons have a few new restrictions that you will need to get used to before you get back to shopping.

The new coupons have new restrictions

Customers of Bed Bath & Beyond were sent an email explaining the new coupon policy and while you can still get good deals, the rules are a bit different. Consumers can no longer use a single coupon more than once, making them “Single-Use Only.”

In the past, customers were able to use multiple coupons at once to get the best price on their items, but that seems to no longer be the case. These also cannot be combined with any other offers going on in the store, so if something is on sale already, don’t expect to be able to get an additional discount.

So while Bed Bath & Beyond is back, even if it’s under a new name, some new rules in place may make your shopping experience a bit different from what you recall.
