ASE Technology Holding, the global outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) leader, benefited from urgent orders from customers in the first quarter, helping to maintain a relatively high utilization rate for testing and packaging, and driving the revenue and profit growth of its testing and packaging business. As a result, despite being the off-season, first-quarter performance was stronger than expected.
