By My son had recently been staying with us while on a break from college. While he was here, he somehow lost his band state championship ring. We had spent all day cleaning out the attic and the upstairs of our home, tossing things into a large dumpster in the driveway.
As he was packing up his car to return to school, he noticed it wasn’t on his finger.
It was very sentimental to him, so understandably, we all immediately dropped what we were doing and went into search mode. We all retraced his steps and searched high and low all over our house.
He searched through all of his stuff that was already packed in his car. We looked through all of our trash cans and the bags that we had gathered in our decluttering process. We looked all over for this ring, to no avail.
By the time he left, we had accepted that it was probably gone forever and that we would never see it again.
Later that evening, before I went to bed, I asked my dad, who has been gone for a few years, if he could help me find my son’s ring.
Fast-forward two months, and I was in the laundry room doing laundry when I looked down. There, shining on the floor by my foot, was my son’s ring. My jaw dropped as I stared at it right before my eyes.
There was no logical explanation for how that ring happened to be on my laundry room floor.
We had swept the floor numerous times since the ring first went missing. For it to suddenly appear right in the laundry room was a complete miracle. I was stunned!
I just know that my father heard my prayer and swooped in to help find the ring and return it to my son.
I happily sent a picture to my son of his found ring and thanked my dad for his help. I just know he had a hand in it from his heavenly home!
