Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has begun production at its new manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, Haryana, marking its first plant opening in eight years. The facility, inaugurated on February 25, is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand production capacity and strengthen its presence in India’s evolving passenger vehicle market, Nikkei and Bloomberg reports.
