Thanks to rising retail costs, however, acquiring all of the supplies for the year ahead can be quite costly. Luckily many big-name businesses want to make it easier for educators to provide for their students–without having to spend a fortune of their own money. Keep reading to learn about teacher discounts being offered for 2025, from tech and craft supplies to software and snacks. 

Michaels teacher discount

Arts and crafts are a bit more affordable thanks to Michaels Teacher Discount. Enjoy 15 percent off (including items on sale) when shopping online or in store. Once you’ve created a Michael Rewards account, verify your role as an educator and you’re good to go! 

Verizon teacher discount

If you’re in the market for a new cell or Internet provider, consider Verizon. The company will give teachers anywhere from $5-$10 off per mobile unlimited line and/or Fios Home Internet. Bundling means a chance to save even more!

Target teacher discount

Teachers who are looking to stock up on school supplies may want to do their shopping at Target. The retail giant is offering a storewide discount of 20 percent for verified teachers through August 20. All you need to do is join the free Target Circle loyalty program, then upload a teachers’ ID, homeschool document or pay stub. 

Bonus: There’s also an offer (valid through September 13) where verified teachers can get a year of Target circle 360 for $49 instead of the usual $99.  

Adobe teacher discount

Adobe’s Creative Cloud Pro includes more than 20 apps like Photoshop and Premiere, and normally costs $69.99 per month. Luckily, teachers can get access for less thanks to a 57 percent discount. You’ll only pay a monthly fee of $29.99 for the first year, then $39.99 after that. 

Costco teacher discount

Whether you’re looking to buy snacks or school supplies in bulk, Costco can be a great place to do so. You’ll also get a teacher discount as a new member! When you purchase a membership online and enroll in auto renewal, Costco will give you a $45 digital gift card to use. Note: Offer expires August 31, 2025. 

Apple teacher discount

The Apple Education store includes more than just discounts for students—teachers get a break too! You’ll be able to get as much as $199 off for expensive purchases like a Magic Keyboard with the purchase of another qualifying product. This could mean getting Airpods, Apple Pencil Pro and more with a 10 percent discount. The offer is available through September 30. 

Staples teacher discount

Need office supplies for the school year? Take advantage of Staples’ special deal: a 20 percent one-time use discount when shopping online or in-store. The chain also has many bulk items on sale right now, making it even easier to stock up. 

AT&T teacher discount

Like Verizon, AT&T is providing teachers and their families with a discount good until August 31. You can get 25 percent off unlimited wireless plans, plus the chance to save on a new phone. 

Office Depot teacher discount

Office Depot and Office Max stores are giving educators a number of benefits once they’ve verified their status and joined the rewards program. The first perk is 20 percent off a qualifying regular or sales price purchase. (Note: This coupon will be sent via email.) Another new benefit is 25 percent back in bonus rewards for any qualifying purchase made online up to $100 a week. 

Ikea teacher discount

Some store locations offer a discount during their Teacher Appreciation events. A Colorado location, for example, is giving 10 percent off all in-store purchases through September 1. Contact your local store to see what’s available. 

Peacock teacher discount

If you’re planning to stream movies or documentaries, it’s a great time to sign up for Peacock. Once you’ve verified your educator status and created an account, you can get a year-long membership of Peacock Premium for just $3.99 per month. After 12 months, you’ll be charged the current $10.99 subscription price. 

Sam’s Club teacher discount

If you prefer to shop at Sam’s Club over Costco, the warehouse chain makes it easier for educators to get a membership for a steal. Qualified teachers can receive a 60 percent discount on a Club membership or enjoy $50 off a Plus membership. (Note: This offer is only available if you have not had an active membership in the last six months.)

Meijer teacher discount

The Midwest-based grocery store chain has a coupon up for grabs during the back-to-school season. Teachers can get 15 percent off school, office and home supplies when shopping in-store. (Offer is valid through September 7.)
